Carson Huggins
Drums, Vocals

Carson began playing music professionally while he was still in
high school and he has never stopped. He is a North Carolina born
musician who has traveled extensively... honing his craft by working
with some of this country’s most respected musicians.  Carson
played drums for Roy Head “back in the day.”  He has also played
with musical legends Earl King, Tony Joe White, Bobby Lewis, Jay
Spell, James Thunderbird Davis, Billy Swan, FSK, David Lowery,
Janis Martin and many other great musicians and he's still
working.  The Crowd was lucky to pick up Carson just after the
release of his
most recent solo project…a CD featuring songs
written by Carson and recorded in Nashville at Silvertone Studios.
Produced by Mike McAdam, Jack Irwin and Carson, Nashville
fiddler Barbara Lamb lent a hand. Guitarist McAdam also plays on
every song.  Carson’s style of music is an enthusiastic blend of
North Carolina Swamp, Nashville Country, New Orleans Blues and
Memphis Elvis. His rhythm is powerful and his voice strong and
memorably resonant.
