His work with major recording artists includes Danny & the Juniors, known for "At the Hop", where he was leader and conductor for revival concerts and club dates, as well as Chubby Checker ("The Twist"), Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders, and Franki Valli, with whom Tommy recorded the hits "Who Loves You", "Swear to God", and worked in shows in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Atlantic City

In 1980-1982 Tommy had his group Toaster signed with Limelighter Inc. and worked with Billy Graham in San Francisco. Other groups that he has worked with include Gypsy, who performed at Playboy Hotel and Casino in Philadelphia and Free & Easy, whose work took them to Aruba for 2 years and to Louisville, KY where they were successful at Peter Outlaws.
